Making redundancies is always very difficult, but you can help your staff face the challenges of getting back into the the right role by offering outplacement coaching. Some of your staff may be more confident than others, but the harsh truth is that if they have been working with you for any ammount of time, they will find things have changed so much that they feel confused and daunted by the challenge of where and how to start.
In my time within recruitment, there was a clear difference between those employees who had been fortunate enough to receive outplacement coaching and those who did not. Often employees who were given no support felt upset and let down by the company they had been working for leaving them feeling negative and ill prepared to deal with the challenges that lie ahead.
In this workshop we cover three main areas: Getting together a great CV, How to market yourself, and Interview skills. I would recommend that these three areas are all run as half day sessions and they can be in small groups or on a one to one basis, some employers have requested a follow up/support course which is also available.
